Memorial Day...

Well ya'll tomorrow is Memorial Day... We have all lost loved one's and its a day to remember them.

Brad lost his grandma & grandpa Stock many years ago and his sister Brenda a while back too. I never had a chance to meet her but I have heard lots of wonderful things about her.

I lost my Grandpa Brockbrader, He was the most wonderful man on the earth, he spoiled me, (I was his only grand-daughter). When I was younger I spent all my free time with him. He was a skinny little German man with a cute sense of humor.... There is no one in the world that I miss more than him... But I know he watches over me every day... I just wish he could have met Cooper & Katie, they would have loved him. The thing I remember most about him is that he had this smell to him, see he was a professional chief and he was always cooking, so he smelled of fresh bread and blue berries.... Weird I know...

A little about the Nye's

Well lets see... Brad and I got married March 5, 1999, So we're going on 9 1/2 years... Wow it seems like so much longer. After being married for 2 years we decided to start trying to have a baby, However it was easier said than done. We tried for a year and a half and then it happened. We were so excited yet scarred. We had 4 sonograms and on the 5th the dr found that there were 2 babies not just one... Brad was dumb-founded, he got up and left the room, when me still laying on the exam table. at this point I was already 20 weeks pregnant so we had the room started and almost done (we were excited)... and then we had to go and buy one more of everything...

2 weeks later we found out that the twins were a boy and a girl... At this point I had bet my dad that they were boys, and If he was right he got to name them, so we compromised and he got to name the girl and I name the boy... We came up with Cooper Brad & Katie Beth...

The first year was hard but amazing, and now they are 6 years old and will be in 1st grade in the fall...
